CutNight hosts homemade user-submitted video at https://cutnight.com. We respect copyright. We do not pre-screen every upload. Owners who find unauthorized copies should send a notice that meets 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3). Use the form on this page. We do not publish a mailbox for these notices.
1. How to report infringement
Only the copyright owner or an authorized agent should send a takedown. Incomplete notices may be ignored. For age or CSAM concerns, describe the URL in the same form and say so in the details field; that is not a substitute for contacting law enforcement.
2. What a notice must contain
A valid takedown includes:
- your name and a way to reach you (address, phone, or email);
- identification of the copyrighted work;
- the exact CutNight URL of the material you want disabled — vague claims without a URL are not enough;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized;
- a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or an authorized agent;
- your physical or electronic signature.
3. Send a takedown notice
4. False claims
Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, can lead to damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), including costs and attorneys’ fees. Do not use this form to harass competitors or to take down content you do not own.
5. Counter-notification
If your upload was disabled and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). It must identify the removed URL, include your contact details, the good-faith and accuracy statements, consent to jurisdiction and service of process, and your signature.
6. Repeat infringers
We terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright in appropriate circumstances. We may also refuse notices from people who repeatedly file bad-faith or incomplete claims.
